Community Meeting
If you are a regular member of the Agora, please
join us for an important community meeting on
Sunday, September 12th from 4-5:30 pm when we
will collectively determine the next step for
our church. In preparation, please: a) review
the document summarizing what was covered in
the last three leadership meetings and the
results of the congregational survey (will be
sent in a separate document to current
members - if you don't receive one and would
like to, please contact Hilary), b) commit to
praying for this meeting and its outcome, and
c) bring your questions and concerns (there
will be a half an hour facilitated open
discussion). Refreshments will be provided.
At 6 pm, there will be a shortened service.

Halifax Community Chaplaincy is seeking
volunteers to work with their Core Chaplaincy
program and with a new program called Circles
of Support and Accountability (CoSA).
Volunteers are trained and supported in their
work with offenders, victims, ex-offenders
and their families. Please join us for an
information evening at Faith Tabernacle
(Summit St. & Windsor) on September 22, 2010

Addiction, abuse, pornography, unhealthy relationships, marriage difficulties,
same sex attraction, eating disorders, obsessive patterns in our lives,
fears, people pleasing, control issues … Don’t like yourself and your life?
If you want true change, and if you want to discover who you are in God’s
eyes--not according to the lies you may believe about yourself--Living
