During this season of Lent we will be looking at passages from Isaiah that
point to Jesus. This Sunday, Ian Mackenzie will speak from Isaiah 49:1-7.

Bridal Shower for Mary-Grace
There will be a bridal shower (women only) for
Mary Grace this Friday, March 12th, 7 pm at
the Family Resource Centre in East Preston
(1799 Hwy #7). Gifts of money, clothing,
baked goods, and gift cards are most welcome
(they're ok for household things). Contact
Joyce Saunders if you'd like to join a
carpool or if you would like to send
something: 429-4651. Also, if you would like

Seeking Justice: A Christian Lawyer's Experience in Rwanda
Natasha Wallace is an Ottawa-based lawyer who
works with International Justice Mission
(IJM), a Canadian Christian human-rights
organization. Part of her experience with IJM
includes a year spent working in Rwanda. IJM
was founded to "educate, empower and engage
Canadians in the pursuit of justice for the
oppressed." It is a human rights agency that
rescues victims of violence, sexual
exploitation, slavery, and oppression.

MB Herald Creative Arts Contest!
Calling all MB writers, artists, and photographers - it's the MB Herald
creative arts contest! You are invited to submit your short stories,
humour, poetry, artwork, or photography (on any subject) to the MB Herald.
